Marketing Manager

We’re looking to add a marketing manager with ecommerce experience to the team. (Title is flexible based on candidate's experience). This individual will help create content, programs, and experiences that resonate with direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands and ecommerce retailers, such as playbooks on how to create, optimize, and grow your ecommerce business. Experience working for an ecommerce brand or agency catering to those brands is required. 

As a marketing manager you will..

  • Use your experience in ecommerce to suggest content topics, programs and ideas that are based on the pain that DTC brands and retailers feel when it comes to managing their websites and apps

  • Produce high-quality content (blog, newsletter, social, etc.) geared towards marketers, designers, merchandisers of leading ecommerce brands

  • Use Builder to create engaging landing pages and lead gen opportunities

  • Support partner marketing efforts and events

  • Interact with cross-functional teammates, including designers and developers to create assets and experiences

  • Identify relevant publications and newsletters for distribution and backlinks 

You'll thrive in this position if you have... 

  • At least 3-4 years of experience working as a marketer which includes some experience working at a DTC brand or retailer as well as experience working at a B2B SaaS / agency serving ecommerce businesses  

  • Driven demand across multiple channels (e.g. earned, owned, and paid)

  • Exposure to running events, owning paid campaigns, and/or leading backlink programs is a strong plus

  • Experience using content management systems, landing page builders, optimization tools, mailers, and design tools (Sketch/Figma/Adobe tools)

  • A solid understanding of the ecommerce technology ecosystem (e.g. Shopify)

  • A scrappy, self-starter, that gets things done 

  • Great project management skills
